Wedding Floral Design Classes for the Do–it-yourself (DIY) Bride

 

Are you (or a relative) thinking about doing your own wedding flowers due to budgetary constraints?   There are a growing number of brides who are, so why not learn how the pros do it.  We only recommend doing your own wedding flowers if you (or a relative) are creative, and if you have a few friends who are willing to volunteer to assist with setting up the flowers the day of the wedding.

 

Although, we would love to assist each and every bride with their wedding day flowers, we are not always able to meet every bride’s budget.  That’s why we offer classes in floral design specifically for the do-it-yourself-bride.  Ten to fifteen centerpieces could cost you thousands, taking one of our classes to learn how to do it correctly cost far less. Class schedules listed below:

 

How to Do-It-Yourself Wedding Centerpieces

Registration Fee:  $175.00   (Bring a friend and get $50.00 off of their registration fee.)

 

Detailed instruction on creating professional looking centerpieces, as well as tips on how to make them last, what tools are used by the trade, and where to purchase supplies.  Students are to bring a photo of their wedding centerpieces.  During the class each student will receive hands on instruction in creating their wedding flowers.  Each student will take home a completed arrangement.

 

Students are supplied with the following:

 

An assortment of the most popular flowers used for weddings, such as, greenery, roses, stargazers, hydrangeas. We can supply you with any additional flowers not listed (peonies, calla lilies, lily of the valley, etc.) at an additional charge.  Please let us know what additional flowers you would like to order in advance.

 

An assortment of common wedding vases to choose from, we encouraged you to bring their own vase if they are using an unusual container, or high end vase.

 

Students are encouraged to bring their own ribbon, lace, rhinestones, or any other embellishments they would like to use on their centerpieces.

 

Florist tools are supplied for use during the class
